Radnja ovog finsko-češkog istorijskog horora koji je prikazan na više od 50 festivala, smeštena je pred kraj 16. veka, kada se posle 25 godina ratovanja pravila granica izmedju Rusije i Finske. Nad proces razgraničenja nadneo se težak greh koji su počinla dva člana pregovaračkog tima, braća Knut i Erik koji su ostavili mladu devojku da umre strašnom smrću. Njen duh se vraća i želi osvetu. Braća traže spas u sauni koja čisti od greha. Ali ovo je film o tami u kojoj nema nade ni iskupljenja.

ANTTI – JUSSI ANNILA (1977)
Sa svega dva igrana filma Anti Jusi Anila uspeo je da postane neko ne samo u finskoj kinematografiji već prevashodno nepredvidljivo maštovitom svetu horora . Do 2006. godine na filmu je bio majstor svetla, gafer, kamerman, scenarista, glumac, kabloman i reditelj kratkih filmova. Za to vreme radio je na scenariju debitantskog horora "Ratnik od žada" (Jadesoturi / Jade Warrior) iz 2006. u kome su se spojili finski ep "Kalevala" , kung-fu i ostale istočnjačke borilačke veštine zasnovane na duhovnoj uzvišenosti.
Uspeh tog filma otvorio mu je vrata za "Saunu".

Thanks for your interest in the Conference. Yes, all the lectures are in the Recital Hall, as is the Concert. They are $10/session. Mr Milnes will be speaking on The Verdi Baritone. No singing. Tickets will be available at the door. Unfortunately, we don’t have any recommendations for hotels. Pre-registered attendees are staying at the College. But those reservations have been finalized and closed, as per the College. Non-members are very welcome. There was a pre-registration fee that covered the whole conference and housing. But that has been finalized and closed. It might be possible to negotiate an overall fee at the door. Mention it when you check in. But there is a separate fee for the concert of $15.
