Poet Passport Control, exhibition and computer presentation
The programme has been the part of World Poetry Day 2010
Poet passport control
We had been waiting and finally awaited the day to abolish passport visas! Those who dreamed on it, while waiting for them in long lines in front of foreign Embassies, then collected stories in the book Best stories from the visa, those who made to get a visa and those whose requests were rejected due to obvious or human completely unjust reasons. European Movement in Serbia and Serbian Literary Society asked the writers, to the pages of their annulled passports, who do not have a personal value, to write down their
songs and stories that have themes of freedom of movement. After the visas that limited our freedom of movement, now on the same pages we have poetic visa.
The first copy of this unusual collection of passports are emerging: Ana Ristović, Vojislav Karanovic, Nikola Vujcic, Radmila Lazic, Mary Šimoković, Vasa Pavkovic, Vladimir Kopic, Gordana Maricic, Dragan Dragojlovic, Dusko Novakovic, Tomislav Marinkovic, Enes Halilovic, and Dragan Jovanovic Danilov.
The idea, the collection and text: Alexander Gatalica
