RABBITLAND, installation by Ana Nedeljkovic
Rabittland by Ana Nedeljkovic is an interesting setting to more artistic and symbolic levels, moslty because the exhibition was ironic critique of the political situation in the environment, and then a kind of paradigm of what is happening in the real world.
The installation Rabittland by Ana Nedeljkovic is imagined projection of an ironic model of an ideal world, young Belgrade artist creates a world of Rabbits with No Brain as the actors of the story. The characteristic of this imagined endemic species of hundred copies is that they are very specific things painted in pink color, with threatened views and with a hole in the head instead of brain. Population inhabits pink pink territory that is something between the war zone and the favela, and their houses are built, walled in, enclosed by low-cost materials, cardboard and plasticine. Life of the rabbits who live in the enclosed space is a kind of grotesque because they are residents of the settlement, its citizens who serve as the experimental rabbits for only three types of activities that can and are required to achieve in the environment: hitting their head to the wall, vote in elections in Rabbitlandu held once a day, and keep posted their Facebook profile.
The exhibition Rabittland-setting actually consists of 3 segments: in addition to settlements of densely placed houses and densely distributed population of the village, there are 3 video animation on the monitors through which the public has access to events that occur inside the home, while Facebook profile can be searched on the show but visitors may subsequently include and monitor life and rabbits from their home computers.
The Rabbitland by Ana Nedeljkovic is an interesting setting to more artistic and symbolic levels, moslty because the exhibition was ironic critique of the political situation in the environment, and then a kind of paradigm of what is happening in the real world, presented in an imaginative and fun way for observers be found in the earth pink rabbits.
