Among all the possible ways of finding a common denominator, sometimes it is sufficient to notice that such a common denominator already exists.

The light has always been here. Life begins with it.

Without any artistic or professional pretensions, Marko has followed the trail of that light with his digital camera for several years in the past.

During this expedition of his, he created a myriad of different photographs. And these differences correspond perfectly to the fluctuation of life. Sometimes these photos represent emotions or sensations, sometimes silence or laughter, sometimes only a person, and that person being either a friend or a child. However, everything illuminated by the light on these photos was, first of all, close and important to the author at some point. That is why everything is in its authentic form and with the right to be exceptional – a shepard’s dog chasing a driver in a jeep, someone’s voice echoing in the mountains, a good-hearted boy standing like an experienced warrior, a sculpture turned into an alive being thanks to the bluish flame of its soul, and some cows are there totally by accident. And all of these things are as unique and interesting as the life itself.

You can stand twice in the same river only if you look back at a photo.

Although Marko is a professional photographer, this is a series of his private photos. They have been taken during various voyages or at some gatherings, or even from Facebook. There are some photos of children, works… It is an ordinary album of digital photos.

But, it is Marko’s album. Because, whether he likes it or not, all of these photos open the doors of countless dimensions which art possesses.
This usually happens when you play with the light.

Biography
Marko Radosavljević (Belgrade, 1976) has been engaged in photography since his early childhood. He has turned his favourite hobby into his profession. He is the founder and owner of a photo atelier called Lens Art. He lives and works in Belgrade.
