BINA is going to focus on urban recycling as well. Architects in the technologically advanced countries have been being interested in this issue for years now, because they are aware that the rapid progress of our society has to be used for the purpose of promoting values of our immediate environment and a more human way of life.
E2A: Fragments of Reality by Eckert 2 Architekten from Switzerland will be held in the Artget Gallery. This exhibition consists of 11 fragments – prints of reality by E2A, i.e. an architecture atelier founded by two brothers, Piet and Wim Eckert, from Zurich. This atelier employs 30 architects today who work simultaneously on 15 projects.A lecture by Wim Eckert on the subject of Fragments of Reality is to be held on Saturday, 27th June, at 18.00. The same architect will guide the exhibition visitors on Sunday, 28th June, at 11.00.
An exhibition by Territorial Agency from Switzerland will take place in the foyer of the Artget Gallery. Territorial Agency founded by John Palmesino and Ann-Sofi Rönnskog is an independent organisation which works on and promotes projects of sustainable territorial transformations. They research how architecture re-defines its role and takes its stand towards potentials of a dynamic human environment which constantly changes. This exhibition comprises materials taken from different sources and domains and presents a series of  “pressing” issues on transformations of modern inhabited territories.
