About the Project
The Young for Young project by JM Serbia – Belgrade is designed as a platform that provides support to young artists aged 18 to 30, enabling their professional development, recognition, and connection with the broader music scene. Through organized concerts and residency programs, young musicians have the opportunity to perform regularly, develop their artistic expression, and establish contacts with audiences, cultural institutions, and other artists. The project is based on the idea of supporting young people in their transition from educational to professional musical life, offering them space and resources for improvement. In addition, it encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and networking with domestic and international partners, contributing to their long-term recognition. One of the key aspects of the project is the development of the local music scene, engaging young performers, and creating new artistic formats that enable innovation and experimentation in music. The project’s goals are to enable young artists to perform in professional conditions, develop their artistic expression and recognize talents, connect with cultural institutions, audiences, and professional circles, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative musical formats, as well as preserve the tradition of JM Serbia – Belgrade while opening space for contemporary artistic practices.
