Biographies:
Spasoje (Spale) Spasojević is a violinist and a professor currently at the State Music High School “Kosta Manojlović” and is a certified Yamaha lecturer. In addition to serving on the juries of both domestic and international competitions, he also conducts masterclasses both in his home country and abroad, including in Germany, Poland, and China. His pedagogical work has been highly impactful, with his students winning numerous awards at both national and international competitions. Since 2014, Spasoje has been deeply involved in projects aimed at introducing classical music to young audiences and inspiring a love for it in children. Notable among these projects are the “Baby Artysh” concerts for infants and toddlers, as well as children’s concerts sponsored by the “Kosta Manojlović” Music School in Zemun. He is also the creator and performer of the “Concerts for All Ages” project, which focuses on promoting violin pedagogy and performing literature for primary and secondary music schools.
Spasoje is an active performer in two highly regarded ensembles: the Pandora String Quartet, which brings new life to pop and rock classics through innovative string arrangements, and the LucisArt Ensemble, which focuses on pushing the boundaries of traditional performance with bold, collaborative projects. Throughout his musical career, Spasoje had the opportunity to perform in renowned concert halls in Europe and Asia, participating in various cultural projects. Personally, more notable collaborations include performances with the “Freestyle” orchestra, the Vienna Youth Philharmonic, and the Bolshoi Festival Orchestra.
Spasoje completed his primary and secondary musical education in Belgrade under the guidance of Prof. N. Dejanović and Prof. J. Vukajlović, after which he enrolled at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. In 2014, he received an invitation from Prof. Tymur Melnyk to continue his studies in Vienna, where he remained until 2018. This was followed by a new chapter in his education in China, where he was awarded a full scholarship to pursue Master studies at the University of Chengdu (CCAA), which he successfully completed in 2020. Spasoje Spasojević currently performs on the violin “1627”, by Charlilie Douriot, from France.
Ksenija Božilović (Leskovac, 1995) graduated from Music School Stanislav Binički in Leskovac, in the class of professors Nadica Damadžić and Vladimir Veljović. She completed her master’s studies at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, with professor Biljana Gorunović. As a scholarship holder, she finished Master studies at the University of Chengdu (CCAA), where she studied with Austrian professor and pianist Patrick Lehner. During her stay in China, she performed at numerous concerts as a soloist and chamber musician, promoting Serbian music and Serbian composers. She has won numerous awards, among which she singles out the first prize at the first Vasilij Mokranjac Music Festival. She enriched her performing practice by collaborating with the Amoroso Chamber Orchestra, with whom she performed as a soloist three times. She has collaborated with renowned professors and pianists such as Morrissey Martin, Russell Hirschfield, Aleksandar Serdar and Vladimir Milošević. She began her teaching career at the Petar Konjović Music School in Bečej. As an accompanist, she received a special award for the best accompanist at the Young Flautists Competition in Valjevo, as well as for the best accompanist at the Isidor Bajić Festival in Novi Sad. She is currently employed at the Josip Slavenski Music School in Novi Sad.
