Luka Trajković’s solo exhibition Where I’m Calling From presents a series of photographs that resemble film stills. Carefully constructed and dramaturgically choreographed, these image-sequences convey the artist’s view as a cinematographer, now translated into the medium of still photography. Each sequence hides a story—of an event, or of the subject in the frame—capturing subtle, nearly intangible moments in a frozen instant.

Luka Trajković is a director of photography and photographer. His work, inspired by the intuitive blending of storytelling and photography, shapes impressions and constructs mini-scenes. In his photo series, there is a noticeable passion for visual storytelling, with his photo-stories serving as segments of various scenes from life and film. He builds narrative and atmosphere using cinematic means, treating beings in space through the communication of light and color.
