Stefan reunites with his family to celebrate his grandmother’s birthday for the first time since his mother’s recent death. This return home, driven by his desire to finish the film about his mother and his attempt to redeem himself by rescuing a stray dog, will initiate an introspective journey for Stefan. Inspired by true events and starring members of the director’s family on a mission to complete the lake house and film, The Winds, Talk to Me is an intimate cinematic exploration of a timeless mother-son relationship.
