The obsession with poetry did not bring Oscar Restrep fame. Increasingly older and more unstable, he succumbs to the cliché of poets in the shadows. When he meets Jurladi, a teenage girl of humble origin whom he helps work on her talent, it lifts his mood. However, dragging Jurladi into the world of poets may not be a good idea.

Father Mother Sister Brother is a feature film, structured as a triptych, which follows three distant family relationships in three different countries. Each chapter is set in the present: “Father” takes place in the northeastern US, “Mother” in Dublin, while “Sister Brother” is set in Paris. The film is a series of character studies – quiet, observant and non-judgmental – a comedy interwoven with threads of melancholy.
