Biography:
Duo Bengin & Predolac was created in 2023 as the result of a long-term collaboration between cellist Aleksandra Bengin and pianist Milica Predolac. As colleagues in the BLISS ensemble, they participated in the performance of numerous chamber music works and decided to devote themselves more specifically to the performance of music written for cello and piano. Their first project of the concert series “Sinhronost“ received support from the SOKOJ association and, starting in April 2024, they performed notable performances in Belgrade, Vrnjačka Banja and at the 7th BLISS Festival in Gornji Milanovac. The duo’s second project, “Sučeljavanje“, is a series of concerts held in 2025 with works by Messiaen, Schnittke, Pärt and Milica Predolac.
The duo Bengin & Predolac performed a notable concert as part of the “Serbian Days“ Festival in Hungary, in the Tekelianum Hall on September 20, 2025, organized by the “Srpski venac“ association.
The repertoire of the duo Bengin & Predolac consists of works of contemporary Serbian and European music for cello and piano, including Milica’s Suite for Cello and Piano and “The Harms Case“ – A Cycle of Musical Stories for Cello and Piano.
