Stanja sna – 18. izdanje međunarodne izložbe kratkih filmova umetnika Artists’ Film International (AFI) – istražuje snevanje kao transformativno stanje, ali i radikalni čin, dok preispituje percepcije stvarnosti i krči staze ka alternativnim budućnostima. Izbor filmova pomera granice pokretnih slika prikazujući radikalne i hrabre alternative. Program predstavlja jedinstvenu mogućnost da upoznamo radove i umetnice, umetnike iz svih krajeva sveta i da promislimo o tome kako san može biti regenerativna praksa, ali i sredstvo oslobađanja za pojedince i zajednice.
Stanja sna istražuju emancipacijski potencijal snova, izmenjenih stanja svesti i kinematografske iluzije. Program u prvi plan stavlja umetnike koji ne slede linearnost vremena, niti jasne granice između istine i fikcije, i plove graničnim područjima između sećanja, mita i fantazije kako bi iznova izmaštali svet. Uz pomoć najrazličitijih vizuelnih strategija, od analognog snimanja do CGI animacije, slojevite arhivske građe, specijalnih efekata i slika generisanih uz pomoć veštačke inteligencije, u ovim radovima se pokretne slike koriste kako bi se destabilizovale dominantne perspektive. Dok se oslanjaju na zajedničke istorije, umetnici kroz ove eklektične i nadrealne pejzaže snova – utopijske i distopijske, intimne i zajedničke – doživljavaju film kao laboratoriju u kojoj se stvaraju snovi, ali i sredstvo promena.
18. izdanje programa realizovala je Forma uz učešće 16 ustanova kulture sa različitih kontinenata i predstavlja selekciju umetnika koje su odabrali ili angažovali partneri. Ova selekcija kratkih filmova prikazivala se u prostorima partnerskih institucija tokom protekle godine, kroz različite formate kao što su izložbe, festivali i projekcije.
Kulturni centar Beograda program 18. izdanja prikazuje 2026., a do kraja godine će u Dvorani Kulturnog centra Beograda prikazati i najnovije, 19. izdanje koje je okupilo filmove pod temom Kind of Power.
Program Artists Film International je pre više od petnaest godina pokrenula galerija Whitechapel u Londonu, a Kulturni centar Beograda u njemu učestvuje od 2012. godine. Od 2024. koordinaciju je preuzela organizacija za savremenu umetnost Forma iz Londona. Reč je o godišnjem programu, koji podstiče kritički dijalog i kolektivno promišljanje u kojem učestvuje oko 20 organizacija, galerija, muzeja iz celoga sveta.
